12、CTION5 Design Features5.1 Tamper resistant features of a hydrant shall be designed such that they do not result in a significantdelay of the intended operation of the hydrant or allow access by breaching the body. See clause 7,Normal Operation Test and clause 6, Attack Test.PERFORMANCE6 Attack Test6

13、.1 A hydrant with tamper resistant features shall, for a period of 5 minutes:a) For Wet Barrel Hydrants, not permit removal of the caps and not permit operation of thehydrant to begin; or permit making a hole opening in any surface of the hydrant using the toolsspecified in 6.4 and 6.5, orb) For Dry

14、 Barrel Hydrants, not permit removal of the caps and not permit operation of thehydrant to begin or; not permit making a hole opening in any surface of the hydrant using thetools specified in 6.4 and 6.5 and not permit operation of the hydrant to begin.6.2 A hole size opening referenced in 6.1 is de
