4、 ULINTRODUCTION1 Scope1.1 This Outline covers bus drop cable for use as described in Section 368.56 (B) and other applicableparts of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70.CONSTRUCTION2 Assembly2.1 The cable shall consist of 3 or 4 insulated circuit conductors of the same type and size cabledto
5、gether with an optional grounding conductor, plus fillers as necessary to make the finished cable roundand firm, and an overall jacket of material rated for the dry temperature rating of the insulated conductors. All conductors shall be stranded. The cable shall not contain both thermoplastic and the

7、-2, or RHH wires as described in theStandard for Thermoset-Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 44. All conductors shall be stranded and in sizes14 4/0 AWG if of copper and in sizes 12 4/0 AWG if of aluminum or copper-clad aluminum.3.2 The optional grounding conductor shall be bare or fully insulated and
8、of the same type as the circuitconductors and shall not be located in the center of the cable core. A bare grounding conductor shall bein one or more sections that are cabled with the circuit conductors. The grounding conductor shall not besmaller in size than indicated in Table 3.1. The individual
