Einleitung Durch Schadensanalysen sollen die Ursachen fr schadhafte Vernderungen bei Werkstoffen und Produkten bis hin zum Versagen aufgedeckt wer-den. Die sich
15、 hieraus ergebenden Erkenntnisse bil-den die Grundlage gezielter Manahmen zur Scha-densabhilfe und -verhtung. Eine der Hauptaufga-ben der Schadensanalyse ist die Auswahl geeigneter Untersuchungsverfahren und die wissenschaftlich fundierte, zusammenfassende Auswertung der Ein-zelergebnisse. Demnach i

18、e Richtlinienreihe folgendermaen strukturiert: Die werkstoffbergreifende Richtlinie VDI 3822 behandelt Grundlegendes zur Vorgehensweise. Drei Richtlinien beschreiben mgliche Ursa-chen, die bereits vor der Nutzung auftreten knnen (Blatt 2.1.1 bis Blatt 2.1.3). Sechs Richtlinien beziehen sich auf mgli

Introduction The purpose of failure analysis is to discover the causes of defective changes in materials and prod-ucts that ultimately lead to failure. The findings thereby obtained provide a basis for targeted measures to remedy and pre
20、vent failure. One of the main tasks of failure analysis is the selection of appropriate investigation methods and the scien-tifically sound, comprehensive evaluation of the individual findings. Correspondingly, the objective of this guideline is to: provide definitions of terms to designate and desc
21、ribe types of failure in a uniform manner provide direction for systematically performing failure analyses ensure the comparability of the results obtained by different analytical laboratories establish requirements for comprehensible documentation Structure of the series of guidelines VDI 3822 Part
22、 2.1 According to the pattern that defects in thermo-plastic products can result from defects in the de-sign (including the implementation of require-ments), materials, manufacturing process and as a result of wear, this series of guidelines is structured as follows: The guideline VDI 3822, which ap
23、plies to a number of different materials, deals with fun-damental questions of procedure. Three guidelines describe possible causes that can occur before use (Part 2.1.1 to Part 2.1.3). 29、 bercksichtigen, dass sehr hnliche Schadens-bilder durch unterschiedliche Ursachen bzw. Bean-spruchungsarten entstehen knnen. Insofern kann nicht davon ausgegangen werden, dass eine Scha-densursache eindeutig identifiziert ist, sobald in einem der Beibltter ein Schadensphnomen mit dem vorliegenden S

35、eline VDI 3822. In determining possible causes of failure, it should be kept in mind that very similar failure modes can result from different causes and/or types of stress. Hence, it cannot be assumed that the cause of fail-ure has been clearly identified, simply because the failure mode that prese
36、nts itself corresponds to one of failure phenomena described in one of the parts of this guideline. This is no clear indication; the user of this guideline is always responsible for taking all of the parts into consideration, unless the failure environment justifies exclusions. B. in 1; 2 zu finden. 1 Scope This guideline will address the (ageing) effects of weather-induced stress1) on thermoplastic products that can result from the impact of radiation (UV, VIS, IR)
42、, alternating humidity and dampness, as well as temperature changes, i.e., for the scenarios in which plastics are used in outdoor areas, as well as for use in indoor areas. The effects of stress collectives will not be ad-dressed here when they play a secondary role in relation to the influence of
43、weather (e.g., the simul-taneous impact of corrosive gases or mechanical stress). While degradation that is induced solely by thermal stress is addressed in guideline VDI 3822 Part 2.1.5, temperature has an influence on all chemical reactions due to the temperature depend-ency of the reaction rate c
44、onstant. This includes an influence on the reaction product distribution (competition of individual reaction rate constants with different temperature dependencies). Be-cause UV radiation, as a rule, represents the most effective form of weather induced stress, the effect of its direction on the defects is especially pro-nounced in relation to the other forms of stress. When the damage to a defective product exhibits a clear dependency on orientation towards the main source of radiation (e.g. the orientation of yellow-ing in a product
