37、ntroduction Dans chacune des trois mthodes dessais dont la prsente norme fait mention il y a un guide qui ne concerne que la mthode particulire. Les informations de base contenues dans la prsente norme sont destines faciliter le choix de la mthode dessai approprie et son utilisation pour les essais

38、sismiques. La prsente norme doit tre utilise conjointement avec la Publication 68-1 de la CEI. SECTION UN - GENERALITES 1 Objet Le prsent guide sapplique dabord aux matriels lectrotechniques mais son application peut tre tendue dautres matriels et aux composants. La vrification des performances dun

39、matriel, soit par un calcul soit par une combinaison dessais et de calcul, peut tre acceptable, mais ne fait pas partie du domaine dapplication du prsent guide, qui est entirement limit la vrification des performances dun matriel partir des donnes dessais dynamiques. Ce guide traite uniquement des e

40、ssais sismiques de matriels lchelle unit qui peuvent tre essays sur table vibrante. Lessai sismique dun matriel est destin prouver sa capacit remplir les fonctions requises pendant et/ou aprs le temps pendant lequel il est soumis des contraintes et des dplacements rsultant dun tremblement de terre.

41、Ce guide a pour objet de prsenter un ventail de mthodes dessai qui peuvent, si prescrit par la spcification particulire, tre appliques pour vrifier les performances de matriels devant satisfaire des conditions de tenue aux sismes dans le but principal de rechercher leur qualification. NOTE - La qual

42、ification par lessai daptitude limite ne fait pas partie du domaine dapplication de ce guide qui a t labor comme guide dapplication gnrale relatif aux essais sismiques et, en particulier, aux mthodes dessais de la Publication 68-2 de la CEI. 44、NVIRONMENTAL TESTING Part 3: Guidance Seismic test methods for equipments Introduction Guidance is included in each of the three test methods referred to in this standard but it is specific to the test method. The guidance in this standard is directed towards choosing the appropriate test method and

45、 applying it to seismic testing. This standard is to be used in conjunctin wit IEC Publication 68-1. SECTION ONE- GENERAL 1 Object This guide applies primarily to electrotechnical equipments but its appli- cation can be extended to other equipments and to components. The verification of the performa

46、nce of an equipment by analysis or by a combination of testing and analysis may be acceptable but is outside the scope of this guide, which is restricted to verification based entirely upon data from dynamic testing. This guide deals solely with the seismic testing of a full size equipment which can

47、 be tested on a vibration table. The seismic testing of an equipment is intended to demonstrate its ability to perform its required function during and/or after the time it is subjected to the stresses and displacements resulting from an earthquake. The object of this guide is to present a range of

48、methods of testing which, when prescribed by the relevant specification, can be applied to demon- strate the performance of equipments for which seismic testing is required with the main aim of achieving qualification. NOTE - Qualification by so-called “fragility-testing“ is not con- sidered to be within the scope of this guide which has been prepared to give generally applicable guidance on seismic testing and specifically on the use of IEC Publication 68-2 test methods.
