AMENDMENT 1 AMENDEMENT 1 2 IEC 60684-3-247:2011/AMD1:2016 IEC 2016 FOREWORD This amendment of IEC 60684-3-247 has been prepared by IEC technical committee 15: Solid electrical insulating materials. The text of this amendment is based on the following documents: CDV Report on voting 15/754

24、/CDV 15/790/RVC Full information on the voting for the approval of this amendment can be found in the report on voting indicated in the above table. _ Introduction Add the following text at the end of the existing Introduction: Amendment 1 to IEC 60684-3-247 changes the requirements for peel strengt

25、h. Major problems have been experienced with reliability and repeatability of results when selecting cable jackets of material types PE, PVC and EPR. The method requires conditioning at 150 C, so careful selection of cable jackets that have a minimum rating exceeding this temperature is essential. E

26、ven when cables that exceed this temperature are selected experience has shown reproducible adhesive peel forces are difficult to achieve. While it is appreciated that these cable jackets are used with this type of sleevings as recovery of the sleeving is normally achieved by either flame or hot air

27、 devices. This means of recovery could be inserted into the method, but extensive testing has shown reproducibly of adhesive peel forces still to be major problem. Due to these issues of lack of reliability and repeatability these substrates have been removed. Lead has also been removed due to healt

28、h and safety reasons. Additional text has been included to aid clarification of the method that deviates from Clause 54 of IEC 60684-2:2011. 6 Sleeving conformance Add, after the indication “Type B: Recovered ID 25 mm 30 mm“, the following paragraph as a last sentence to Clause 6: For the peel stren

29、gth test, select a size to comply with the dimensions as detailed under remarks in Table 1. 31、leeving under test shall have a thickness of 2,0 mm 0,5 mm when recovered on the tube. Other substrate materials and methods are subject to agreement between the supplier and the user. Prepare the Cu and Al tubes in the manner defined in IEC 60684-2:2011, 54.3. Precondition the prepared Cu and Al tu

32、bes in an oven at 100 C for at least 30 min. Immediately place the sleeving on the prepared Cu or Al tubes and condition at 150 C 3 K for (10 1) min. To make the cross-linked polyolefin (PO- X) specimens shrink the sleeving onto the Cu or Al tubes by conditioning at 150 C 3 K for (10 1) min. Allow t

33、o cool, then abrade and clean the outer surface as detailed in IEC 60684-2:2011, 54.3. Finally, fix the narrow strip of adhesive masking tape longitudinally on the sleeving, then place the same sleeving on top and condition at 150 C 3 K for (10 1) min. Les principaux problmes rencontrs concernent la fiabilit et la rptabilit des rsultats lors de la slection des matriaux de gaines de cbles en PE, PVC et/ou EPR. La mthode ncessite un conditionnement 150 C, il est donc essentiel de choisir soigneusem

37、ent des gaines de cbles dont la valeur nominale est infrieure cette temprature. Mme lorsque des cbles qui dpassent cette temprature sont slectionns, lexprience a montr que les forces dadhrence adhsives reproductibles sont difficiles raliser. Bien quil soit apprci que ces gaines de cbles soient utili

38、ses avec ce type de gaines car lexpansion des gaines est normalement ralise soit par des dispositifs flamme ou air chaud. Ce moyen dexpansion pourrait tre insr dans la mthode, mais des essais approfondis ont montr que les forces dadhrence adhsives reproductibles restent encore un problme majeur. En

39、raison de ces problmes de manque de fiabilit et de rptabilit, ces substrats ont t enlevs. Le plomb a galement t retir pour des raisons de sant et de scurit. Un texte supplmentaire a t inclus pour faciliter la clarification de la mthode qui dvie de lArticle 54 de lIEC 60684-2:2011. 6 Conformit des ga

40、ines Ajouter, aprs lindication “Type B: Diamtre intrieur rtreint de 25 mm 30 mm“, lalina suivant comme une dernire phrase lArticle 6: Pour lessai relatif la force dadhrence, slectionnez une taille conforme aux dimensions comme indiqu dans les remarques du Tableau 1. 43、le tube. Dautres matriaux de substrat et mthodes font lobjet dun accord entre le fournisseur et lutilisateur. Prparer les tubes Cu et Al dans les conditions dfinies dans la norme IEC 60684-2: 2011, 54.3. Prconditionner les tubes Cu et Al prpars dans un four 100 C pendant au moins 30 min. Placer immd

44、iatement la gaine sur les tubes prpars de Cu ou dAl une temprature de 150 C 3 K pendant (10 1) min. Pour rendre la polyolfine rticule (PO-X) spcimens rtrcir la gaine sur les tubes Cu ou Al par conditionnement 150 C 3K pendant (10 1) minutes. Laisser refroidir, puis poncer et nettoyer la surface extr

45、ieure comme dtaill dans lIEC 60684-2: 2011, 54.3. Enfin, fixer la bande troite dadhsif longitudinalement sur la gaine, puis placez la mme gaine sur le dessus et 150 C 3 K pendant (10 1) min. Temprature de fusion ISO 11357-3 C Min. 100 Adhsif seulement.
