4、omoteinternationalcooperationonallquestionsconcerningstandardizationintheelectricalandelectronic fields.Tothisendandinadditiontootheractivities,theIECpublishesInternationalStandards.Their preparationisentrustedtotechnicalcommittees;anyIECNationalCommitteeinterestedinthesubjectdealt withmayparticipat

5、einthispreparatorywork.International,governmentalandnongovernmentalorganizations liaisingwiththeIECalsoparticipateinthispreparation.TheIECcollaboratescloselywiththeInternational OrganizationforStandardization(ISO)inaccordancewithconditionsdeterminedbyagreementbetweenthe twoorganizations. 2) Theforma

20、econtrolroomsystemofnuclearpowerplantsandgivesverificationandvalidation criteriafortheassignmentoffunctionsandfortheintegratedcontrolroomsystem. Itdescribeshowtoreviewandevaluatethecontrolroomworkspace,instrumentation,controls, andotherequipmentfromahumanfactorengineeringpointofviewthattakesintoacco

21、unt bothsystemdemandsandoperatorcapab ilities.Inaddition,controlroomdesignmodifications thatcorrectinadequateorunsuitableitems,aretobeidentified,assessed,andimplemented. Thisstandardisintendedforapplicationtonewdesignsofthemaincontrolroomofnuclear powerplantsortobackfits(designrenewalanddesignmodifi

22、cations)toanexistingcontrol roomdesign.Inthelattercase,attentionshouldbegiventoidentifyingtheareasaffected.The standardshouldbeappliedtothoseareasandtotheirintegrationintothewholecontrolroom, takingintoaccounttherequirementsgiveninclause4andaccordingtothespecificationsof clause5. Thisstandardcanalso
