12、ments: a) near-vision acuity shall permit reading of Times New Roman N5 maximum size or equivalent font types (Times New Roman of five points vertical height where one point = 1/72 in or 0,35 mm) at not less than 30 cm with one or both eyes, corrected or uncorrected. This test shall be conducted wit
13、h a minimum of six single spaced random capital characters; b) for torch brazing and titanium brazing, a colour perception test shall be passed (e.g. according to the Ishihara test); c) vision shall be tested to these requirements at least every two years. As an alternative to a), the candidate shall provide evidence of satisfactory near vision by a method determined by an oculist, optometrist, or other professionally recognized person.
