7、minalsizesofphotographicglassplates,togetherwithcutting dimensionsandtheirtolerances.Italsospecifiesthenominalsubstratethicknessesandtheirtolerances. 2 Normativereferences Thefollowingstandardscontainprovisionswhich,throughreferenceinthistext,constituteprovisionsofthis InternationalStandard.Atthetim

8、eofpublication,theeditionsindicatedwerevalid.Allstandardsaresubjectto revision,andpartiestoagreementsbasedonthisInternationalStandardareencouragedtoinvestigatethe possibilityofapplyingthemostrecenteditionsofthestandardsindicatedbelow.MembersofIECandISOmaintain registersofcurrentlyvalidInternationalS

ISO554:1976, Standardatmospheresforconditioningand/ortestingSpecifications. 3 Conditionsformeasurementofdimensions 3.1 Dimensions ThedimensionsandtolerancesspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardshallapplyatthetimeofmanuf

10、acture (exceptwherespecificallystatedotherwise),whenmeasuredunderatmosphericconditionsof(23+2)C and (50+ 5)%relativehumidity,asspecifiedinISO554. 3.2 Calibrationofmeasuringinstruments Allmeasuringinstrumentcalibrationsshallbeconductedatatemperatureof20C(asspecifiedinISO1)anda relativehumidityof50%.

11、4 Dimensions 4.1 Cuttingdimensions Cuttingdimensionsandtolerancesofplatesshallconformtothevaluesgivenintables1and2. 4.2 Substratethickness Substratethicknessesofglassplatesshallconformtothevaluesgivenintable3.ISO14548:1998(E) ISO 2 5 Squareness Squareness,edgestraightness,shapeandcompliancewithspeci

12、fieddimensionsshallbecheckedatthesame timebycomparisonofanygivenplatewithtwoperfectrectangles,independentlylocated,onemadeaccordingto theminimumdimensionaltolerancespecifiedinthisInternationalStandard,andtheotheraccordingtothe maximumtolerance.Nopointontheperimeteroftheplateshallfallwithinthesmaller

13、rectangle.Nopointshallpoint falloutsidethelargertriangle. 6 Packagemarking Sufficientdatashallbeprovidedonaproductspackagingtoinformtheuserofproperuseandhandling. Productpackagingshallbemarkedsoastoindicate a) productnameandsize, b) conditionsofuse(suchassafelight),and c) conditionsofshippingandstor

Toaccomplishthis,eachofthepackageswhichconstitutetheproductspackagingshouldbemarkedsoasto indicateoneormoreofthefollowing 1) : productnameortradename; nominalproductsizewiththesmallerdimensionfirst; quantityofunitscontainedinthepackage; nameortrademarkofmanufacturer; expirationdateor“developbef
