15、nt. 3.1.3 automatic fire detection and alarm system: Fire alarm system (3.1.21) comprising components for automatic- ally detecting a fire, initiating an alarm of fire and initiating other action as appropriate. NOTE - The system may also include manual fire alarm call points (3.1.14). 3.1.4 automat
16、ic fire protection equipment: Fire control or firefighting equipment, e.g. control of smoke doors, dampers, fans, or an automatic extinguishing installation. 3.1.5 automatic fire signal : Alarm of fire (3.1 .I) originated by an automatic device, given audibly and/or visibly. 3.1.6 central fire alarm
17、 station: Permanently staffed centre, usually provided by an organization which is external to the protected or monitored premises, and the staff of which, upon receipt of a fire call (3.1.22), notify the fire service. 3.1.7 control centre: Permanently staffed room within or near the premises at ris
18、k for the receipt of emergency calls and equipped with means for indicating the situation in each of the protected premises, and the communications needed for transmission of calls for assistance to emergency services. 3.1.8 control for automatic fire protection equipment: Automatic device used to a
19、ctuate automatic fire protection equipment after receiving a signal from the control and in- dicating equipment. 3.1.9 control room : Permanently staffed and fully equipped room in fire service premises in which emergency calls are received and subsequent action is taken to mobilize men, ap- pliance
