28、sitypatches Densityisgenerallymeasuredonasinglearea.However,ifdensitiesoftheimagesdonotappearuniform throughoutthemicroform,itisrecommendedtocarryoutmeasurementsondifferentimageareasthroughoutthe microform,withparticularattentionbeingpaidtolowestdensityareas. Minimumdensityofdirectpositivesilverandn
29、egative-appearingdiazoduplicates,andmaximumdensityof (positive-appearingdiazo)andvesicularduplicatesshouldpreferablybemeasuredonanimage,incompliancewith ISO6200,ofa6%reflectancepatchcomprisingpartofatesttargetfilmedontheoriginalmicroform. Intheabsenceofareflectivepatch,measurementsmaybemadebetweenim
30、agesalthoughthesemaydiffer slightlyfromthoseobtainedfroma6%patch.
