8、nts required to fully mate or unmate elements of connection, including the effect of any device that assists the matinghnmating separating operations. 9、l 3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 Specimens shall be fitted with their full complement of wired contacts and their normal accessories as specified by the technical specification. The receptacle shall be mounted to a support. 3.2 Unless indicated in the technical specification, the following details s
10、hall be specified : - type and length of cable, - type of accessory, - test method A or A and 6, - temperature for method 6, - rate of application of the load, if required, - method A or B : maximum value of mating force or torque, - method A or B : maximum and minimum values of unmating force or to
11、rque. 4 Method 4.1 Procedure The plug shall be fully mated and unmated by the normal method. If necessary, the rate of mating or unmating shall be as specified by the technical specification. . Method B : specimens shall be tested for 2 h at a
13、 temperature between -25 OC and -55 OC as specified by the technical specification. The forces and/or torque moments required to fully mate or unmate specimens shall be measured. 4.2 Requirements The forces or torques measured shall be within the limits specified.
