8、eakers ability to withstand fluids as defined in EN 3909. It shall be used together with EN 3841-100. 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates by dated or undated reference provisions from other publications. EN 3841-100, EN 3909, Aerospace series - Circuit breakers - Test methods - Patt 700: General 1) Aerospace series - Test fluids for electric components and sub-assemblies 1) 3 Method 3.1 Mounting The circuit breakers shall be submitted to the test in the closed position. 3.2 Procedure One circuit
11、breaker shall be used for each fluid as defined in EN 3909 and wetted using a brush. The circuit breakers shall remain wet for 24 h at ambient temperature except for the fire extinguishing agent. 3.3 Requirement Manual verification of the mechanical function after wetting; then, after the drying pha
12、se the tests in accordance with technical specification and product standard shall be carried out. The current rating marking shall still be legible.
