2、shall conform to Drawing No. 52D18501. 3.3.4 Shutter control. - The shutter speeds shall be controllable at the camera or at a remote station. 3.3.4.1 Manual shutter speed control. - A manual knob shall be provided on the camera body with marked positions for each required shutter speed of the C-3,
3、C-5, and C-6 lens cones conforming to Specifications MIL-L-6603, MIL-L- 6604, and MIL-L-6602 respectively. The knob shall be positioned as shown on Drawing No. 52D18501. 3.3.4.2 Remote shutter speed control. - A shutter speed timer, connected to a servo unit, shall be incorporated in the camera body
4、. 3.3.4.2.1 Shutter speed timer. - The shutter speed timer shall be capable of operating at thehighest shutter speed setting of the C-3, and C-5 lens cones at 2 per second intervals and the C-6 lens cone at 4 per second intervals for 450 cycles at room temperature of 70F. It shall then be allowed to
5、 cool for 5 minutes before re-operation. 3.3.4.2.2 Shutter timer servo unit. - The electro-mechanical shutter timer which is associated with the shutter shall be mechanically controlled by a servo assembly, containing a two phase induction motor, Transicoil Type 4900-20 or Kearfott Motor Mark 14 Mod
6、el O or equal. The gear ratio shall be chosen such that with the motor fully excited as shown in Figure 1, the timer shall move from the maximum exposure position to the minimum exposure position in not less than 1.5 seconds or more than 2.5 seconds at 80“ - + 20F. 3.3.4.2.3 A potentiometer shall be
7、 included in this servo and connected to this mechanism in such a manner that when the potentiometer is connected and excited as shown in Figure 2, and the exposure transducer output voltage is set by turning the manual control knob, the corresponding output pulses of the timer shall be spaced by th

One cable shall be a camera to dc power and control- AN7007- 72 and the other an adapter cable with connectors, pin designations and wiring as indicated in Figure 4, To properly mate the camera to the Universal Camera Control
18、 System, the cable shall be arranged in the form of a V with the wire segregated and bundled as shown on Figure 4. SAMPLING, INSPECTION, AND TEST PROCEDURES 4.1 Sampling, inspection, and test proce
22、dures shall be in accordance with Specification MIL-C-8494 and as specified herein. 4.2 Durability test. - Each sample item, except the timer servo, shall be operated t 80“ + 20F for 12,000 cycles using a tripping pulse of 28 volts dc of 40 to 360 millis%onds duration and with a 28 volts dc power su
23、pply in accordance with the following procedure: (1) The item shall be cycled at 3 second intervals. (2) A simulated magazine load of 95 to 105 pound inches shall be applied to the magazine drive coupling. Failure resulting from the test fixture malfunctions shall not be cause for rejection during t
24、his test. (3) A total of two malfunctions shall be permittedduring this test. A malfunction shall be interpreted as a condition resulting from damage or wear of a part or parts which require repair or adjustment to the item being tested to return it to proper operating conditions. (4) Time duration
25、between shutter pulses from the shutter speed timer as listed in Table I and the time duration between the start of the control pulse (intervalometer pulse) and the closing shutter pulse from the shutter timer, shall be measured at the beginning of the test and at the completion of each 4000 cycles.
26、 A change of time duration between the shutter pulse from the shutter speed timer in excess of 10 percent from that originally measured, or a time duration between the control pulse and the closing shutter pulse from the shutter timer in excess of 100 milliseconds shall constitute cause for rejectio
27、n. 4.2.1 Timer servo durability. - The timer servo assembly consisting of the servo motor, gearing, potentiometer and switches, as specified herein, shall be capable of continuous cycling from maximum angle to minimum angle and return for a maximum total time of 200 hours at a rate of 15 complete cy
28、cles per minute and at an ambient temperature of 80“ + 20“ F. - 4.3 Low temperature test (equipment operating. ). When the body temperature has been stabilized as specified in Specification MIL-C-8494, the case.drive shall be operated for 100 cycles at runaway operation with a load of 100 pound inch
29、es on the magazine drive coupling. Failure of the case drive shall constitute cause for rejection. The shutter speed timer shall be operated at its highest speed setting for 100 cycles at 2 second intervals and the timer servo shall be operated from maximum angle to minimum angle and return at a rat

Failure of any part of the shutter speed timer or decrease in speed in excess of 10 percent of the original speed during the test shall constitute cause for rejection, Failure of the timer servo mechanism or decrease in speed in excess of 10 percent as spe
