It was prepared by an American Societyof Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Committee onProtectio

49、n of Industrial Workers with the assistance ofrepresentativesofanumberofinterestsincludingmanu-facturers, insurance carriers, regulatory bodies, andtechnical societies.Subsequently, ASME requested the AmericanEngineering Standards Committee (AESC) to authorizethe organization of a Sectional Committee to undertakethis revision.
