This material is also known as sodium hexametaphosphate, sodium tetrapolyphosphate, and Grahams salt. Sec. 1.2 Purpose The purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum requ

Potable water: Water that is safe and satisfactory for drinking and cooking. 4. Purchaser: The person, company, or organization that purchases any materi
23、als or work to be performed. 5. Reclaimed water: Wastewater that becomes suitable for beneficial use as a result of treatment. 6. Sodium polyphosphate, glassy: A glassy solid that is a soluble sodium phos- phate containing Na 2 O and P 2 O 5in a molar ratio of approximately 1.1 Na 2 O to 1.0 P 2 O 5
24、 . It is an amorphous mixture of long-chain polyphosphates with the for- mula Na n+2 P n O n+1 . The approximate value of n is either 1216 or 1821. 7.
