26、ndensing dichroic-coated integral reflector side pin tungsten halogen projection lamps with GX7.9 bases designed for large screen projection systems and used in 8mm and 16mm projector applications. The lamp types contained in this standard are not to be considered as interchangeable although they ma

27、y physically fit into systems with GX7.9 lampholders. Photometry performance of each lamp depends upon the photometry appraisal system for which it was designed as well as the system in which the lamp is used. Photometry appraisal and end use systems may or may not be the same. Condensing integral r

Tungsten-halogen lamps operate at high temperature and at internal gas pressures above atmospheric pressure. Consequently, a lamp could shatter. C

36、ertain lamps may also emit some amount of ultraviolet radiation. Therefore a suitable protective shield, screening technique, or both shall be used with the luminaire to protect people and surroundings from both hazards. 2. Light from lamps converges and passes through a vertical rectangular aperture and projection lens, and is formed into a vertical rectangular image approximately proportional in size to the aperture. T

43、his image is projected onto a large vertical screen equipped with photocells for measurement of both light intensity and uniformity with the distance from the lamp to screen determined by the desired image size on the screen. 44、 Screen Photometry of Side Pin Projection Lamps A typical vertical image screen, as shown in Figure 2, has seventeen photocells that measure light intensity in lux or lumens per square meter. Light intensity is measured by the twelve light cells in centers of twelve equal area elements with area ele

45、ments and photocell location determined by screen width and height. Total light intensity in screen lumens is the average light intensity each light photocell multiplied by the total screen area in square meters.
