SCOPE 1.1 Scope, This document covers

2、 one type and size of padded adjustable individual weapons case, fabricated from olive drab cotton duck and webbing, with a slide fastener flap cIsure. The case is equipped with a snap link, V-ring and quick release snap hook for attachment to the T-10 parachute harness worn by the parachutist. 2, A

28、2.6 Palletization examination. An examination shall be made to determine that the palletization complies with the section 5 requirements. Each case shall be preserved in acces

36、dance with ASTM D 3951. 5.2 Packing. Packing shall be level A, B, or Commercial as specified (see 6.2). 5.2.1 Level A packing. Ten cases, preserved as specified in 5.1, shall be packed in a shipping container conforming to class II, style A or I, type 2 load OP PPP-B-591; or overseas type, style A o

37、r I, grade A or B, type 2 load of PPP-B-601, as specified (see 6.2). Level A unit packs shall be packed flat, alternated end to end and nested in each stack, one in length, two in width, and five in depth within a shipping container. container shall approximate 32-1/2 inches in length, 21 inches in

38、width, and 12-1/2 inches in depth. Each shipping container shall be closed and reinforced in accordance with the appendix of the applicable container specification. 39、as specified in 5.1, shall be packed in a shipping container conforming to style RSC-L, class domestic, variety DW, grade 350, of PPP-B-636. 40、ntainer shall be approximately 32-1/2 inches in length, 21 inches in width, and 12-1/2 inches in depth. Level A unit packs shall be packed flat, alternated end to end, and nested in each stack, one in length, two in width and five in depth within the skipping container. container shall be closed in

42、 entry pallet in accordance with load type I or Ia, as applicable, of MIL-STD-147, Each prepared load shall be bonded with primary and secondary straps in accordance with bonding means K and L or film bonding means O or P. of MIL-STD-149. Interlocking of loads shall be effected by reversing the patt

43、ern of each course. If the container is of a size which does not conform to any of the pallet patterns specified in MIL-STD-149, the pallet pattern used shall first be approved by the contracting officer. Pallet patterns shall be in accordance with the appendix * 5.4 Marking. In addition to any spec

Polyethylene bagged unit packs shall have the required information listed below legibly printed or stamped in black directly on the bag across the center face or on a white paper label inserted within the ba

46、g so as to permit ready identification. The bag or label shall only indicate the following information: STOCK NUMBER ITEM DESCRIPTION QUANT I TY 6. NOTES 6.1 Intended use. The weapons case is intended for use by airborne personnel as a protective carrying container for individual or crew served weap

47、ons. case is not furnished with a lowering line. The 6.2 Ordering data.
