SCOPE 1.1 This specification covers one type of 2-ply rubberized sateen cloth. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS * 2.1 The following documents of the issue in effect on date of

2、invitation for bids or request for proposal, form a part of this specification to the extent specified herein. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Standard shade sample.- The laminated cloth shall match the standard sample for shade only (see 6.3). * 3.2 Nrst article.- When specified (see 6.2), before production is commenced, a 3-yard sample of the laminated fabric shall be submitt

6、ed to the contracting officer or his authorized representative for inspection as specified in 4.2. The approval of the preproduction sample authorizes the commencement of production but does not relieve the supplier of the responsibility for compliance with all provisions of this specification. by t

The preproduction sample shall be manufactured 3.3 Materials.- * 3.3.1 Base cloth.- The base cloth shall conform to class 1 of MIL-C-10296. In addition, the base cloth shall be mildew resistant treated with in

8、hibitor (a) in table If of CCC-D-950, and shall be tested for inhibitor content in accordance with CCC-D-950. 18、 cloth shall conform to the quality of product established by this specification and the occurrence of defects shall not exceed the specified acceptable quality levels in Section 4. Splices shall be produced by a butted-type - 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS * 4.1 Responsibility for inspection.- Unl

19、ess otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspec- tion requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the con- tract or order, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance

20、 of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. the Government reserves the right to check test such items to determi

21、ne the validity of the certification. in accordance with 3.1 shall be inspected for all provisions of this specification applicable to end product examination and tests. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspection * 4.1.1 Certificate of compliance.- Where certificates of compl

22、iance are submitted, * 4.2 First article inspection.- When specified (see 6.2), samples submitted * 4.3 1nspection.- Sampling for inspection shall be performed in accordance with MIL-STD-105, except where otherwise indicated hereinafter. * 4.3.1 Inspection of materials and components.- The supplier

23、is responsible for insuring that all materials and components used were manufactured and in- spected in accordance with the requirements of this specification and referenced specifications. A certificate of compliance shall be furnished with each ship- ment or lot stating that the laminating compoun

25、 shall be examined in accordance with 4.3.2.1, 4.3.2.2 and 4.3.2.3. The lot size for purposes of determining the sample size in accordance with MIL-STD-105 shall be expressed in units of one yard each for the examination in 4.3.2.1 and 4.3.2.2 and in units of shipping containers for examination unde

35、 for length.- * 4.3.2.2.1 Examination for length in individual roll.- Each individual roll in the sample shall be examined for number of pieces, length of pieces, splices and for gross length The sample unit for this examination shall be one roll. The sample size (number of rolls selected as sample)

The lot shall be unacceptable if the total of the actual gross lengths of rolls in the sample is less than the total of the gross lengths marked on the roll tickets. * 4.3.2.3 Examination of preparation f

39、or delivery requirements.- An examination shall be made in accordance with the provisions of PPP-P-1136 to determine that packaging, packing and marking requirements of Section 5 of this specification are complied with. 4.3.3 Testing of the end item.- The methods of testing specified in FED-STD-191
