The end item shall be examined for conformance to the dimensions specified in this document and on the drawings. Any dimension not within the specified tolerance shall be classified as a defect. The lot size shall
31、 be expressed in unit of printing plants. The sample unit shall be one printing plant. The inspection level shall be S-2 and the AQL, expressed in terms of defects per hundred units, shall be 6.5. 4.2.4.3 End item testing. Each end item shall be tested as specified in 4.3.1, 4.3.2 and 4.3.3. Any tes
32、t failure shall be cause for rejection of the end item. 4.2.5 Packaging inspection. Examination shall be made to determine that preservation, packing, and marking comply with section 5 requirements, Any deviation from specified requirements shall be cause for rejection, 4.3 Methods of inspection. 4.
33、3.1 Sight levels. Settings of exterior lateral and longitudinal sight levels shall be checked for compliance with 3.4.1 using an 18-inch carpenters level, with a properly set vial, as follows: (a) The setting of the lateral exterior sight level shall be checked with the carpenters level placed over
34、the lateral centerline of the interior floor surface with the ,vial over the intersection of the lateral and longitudinal centerline. (b) The setting of the longitudinal sight level shall be checked with the carpenters level placed over the longitudinal centerline of the interior floor surface, with
35、 the vial of the level over the intersection of the longitudinal and lateral centerlines. The rainfall shall be produced by means of a water spray nozzle of such design that the wat

Vertical Camera - Determine parallel alignment by using graph method, Optically check dimensional stability at 25, 50, 100, 200 and 400 percent. PMT Processor - Operate using camera prepared test materia
43、l. Film Dryer - Process 12 wet ortho sheets. Duplicator/Press w/colorhead - Produce 20 reams of printed material, at variable speeds. Following successful completion of tests specified in 4.3.3, the complete printing p
46、lant, with all contents, shall be secured as specified in 5.1.1.2.1 and mounted on Government furnished vehicle and subjected to a 100 mile road test. The vehicle shall be driven at top legal speed, or as road conditions permit, for this type equipment. Not less than 50 percent of the test course sh
47、all be unimproved roads such as earth or partially surfaced gravel, and the remainder shall be improved roads such as concrete, asphalt, or macadam. The test shall include not less than 20 quick starts and stops of the vehicle on grades of not less than 5 percent or greater than 10 percent. Fifty pe
