2、r use within the US Army Armament Munitions and Chemical Command and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. PAGE 1 * 2.1: Add the following: 11MIL-STD-286-Propellants, Solids: Sampling, Examination and Testing“ PAGE 2 3.1: Delete lType IT“ and substitute “

3、Type 1“. k Add paragraph: “3.4 Total qraphite. The total graphite content shall not exceed 0.55 percent when determined as specified in paragraph 4.3.2.1. PAGE 3 4.2.2.1: Delete “115 poundstt and substitute “350 poundsii. Add the following new paragraphs: * “4.3.2 Graphite content determination. 4.3

The following tests shall be performed on the first five lots which have been submitted for acceptance and have been accepted. If any of the lots fail, ad

7、ditional lots shall be tested until information is obtained on a total of five accepted lots. The tests shall be for informational purposes only. 6.4.1 A uniformity series shall be performed on seven rounds which were conditioned for a minimum of 24 hours at minus 65 degrees F. Firing shall be perfo

8、rmed at ambient conditions. The shells shall be inert loaded. 6.4.2 A uniformity series shall be performed on seven rounds which were conditioned for a minimum of 15 days at 160 degrees F. Firing shall be performed at ambient conditions. The shells shall be inert loaded. 6.4.3 A uniformity series sh

9、all be performed on seven rounds which were conditioned for a minimum of 24 hours at 140 degrees F.
