SCOPE 1.1 This specification contains require- ments not normally required by the draw- ings and provides quality assurance provi- sions for the loading, assembling and pack- ing for o

REQUIREMENTS 3.1

7、Material. Materials shall be in ac- cordance with applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 Primer, The primer shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawing (dwg.) 8857266 and with all requirements specified in applicable specifications. 3.3 Moisture content of lead azide. The moisture c

8、ontent of the lead azide used in loading the primer, at the time of loading shall not exceed 0.60 percent. 3.4 Moisture content of primer mixture. The moisture content of the primer mixture used in loading the primer, at the time of loading shall not exceed 0.60 percent. 3.5 Waterproofness. The prim

9、er shall be waterproof as evidenced by normal func- tioning, as specified in 3.6, after being immersed in water maintained at 70“ Fahr- enheit (F.) plus or minus 10“ F., at a depth of 2 inches minimum for not less than 48 hours. The test shall be performed as specified in 4,3,3. 3.6 Sensitivity and.

10、 output. The primer shall function on the first attempt when tested as specified in 4.3.3.1 and shall cause perforation of the coined lead disc to a diameter of not less than 0,250 inch, mini- mum, 3.7 Workmanship, All parts shall be free of cracks, chips, dirt, grease, rust and other foreign materi

11、al. The cleaning method shall not; be injurious to any of the parts nor shall the parks be contaminated by the cleaning agenta. ? ;- , - .- f - 4, QUALITY. ASSURANCE PRovsIoJss 4.1 Gekial quality assurance provisions. The supplier is responsible for the perform- ance of all inspection requirements s

12、pecified herein. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own or any other inspection facilities and services acceptable to the Government. Inspection records of the examinations and tests shall be kept complete and available to the Government as specified in the contract or order

13、. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the speci- fication where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure that supplies and serv- ices conform to prescribed requirements, Reference shall be made to Standard MIL- STD-109 in order to define terms used

14、 herein. The provisions of Specification MIL-A-2550 shall apply. 4.1.1 Contractor quality wsurance sys- tem. The contractor shall provide and maintain an effective quality assurance sys- tem in compliance with the requirements of Specification MIL-1-45208. The contrac- tors quality assurance system

15、shall contain a procedure for the reporting of critical defectives found during the course of his inspection and during inspection by the Government. Any critical defect encoun- tered, unless annotated by an asterisk (*) to the right of the characteristic code num- ber (see 6.2), will be reported wi

16、thin 48 hours. A monthly summary report cover- ing those critical defects annotated by an asterisk will be furnished. The agencies to whom the reports will be furnished are identified in paragraph 6.6. The reports shall contain, as a minimum, the following information : (a) Contractor and contract n

When the corrective action is beyond the control of the contractor or the scope of tha contract, the report shall contain the con- tractors recommendation to the Govern- ment. 4.1.2 Szibmisson of prodmt. At the time the comple

19、ted lot of product is submitted to the Government for acceptance the con- tractor shall supply the following informa- tion accompanied by a certificate which attests that the information provided is correct and applicable to the product being submitted : (a) A statement that the lot complies with al

20、l quality assurance pro- visions of the approved current written description of the sys- tem. (b) Number of units of product in- spected. (c) Results obtained for all inspection performed. (d) Drawing, specification number and date, together with an identi- fication and date of changes. (e) Certific

21、ates of analyses on all ma- terial procured directly by the contractor when such material is controlled by Government speci- fication referenced in any of the contractual documents. (f) Number of items in the lot. (g) Date submitted. MIL-P-60026 (MU) The certificate shall be signed by a respon- sibl

22、e agent of the certifying organization. The initial certificate submitted shall be substantiated by evidence of the agents authority to bind his principal. Substan- tiation of the agents authority will not be required with subsequent certificates unless, during the course of the contract, this autho

23、rity is vested in another agent of the certifying organization, 4.1.3 Gove.mtme.nt verification. Using the contractors written quality assurance pro- cedure, this detail specification, the appli- cable draiuings and other contractual doCu- ments as a guide, the Government inspector shall verify at u

24、nscheduled intervals all quality assurance operations performed by the contractor. Verification will be in ac- cordance with Specification MIL-1-45208 and will be performed to the extent neces- sary to assure compliance with the con- tractual requirements. Severity of Govern- ment inspection of indi

25、vidual characteristics will be directly related to the seriousness of the classification assigned. In no in- stance will a characteristic classified criti- cal” be accepted solely on the basis of the contractors records. 4.2 Inspection provisions. 4.2.1 Lot fo?matbn. A lot shall consist of primers p

26、roduced by one manufacturer in one unchanged process in accordance with the same drawing, same drawing re- vision, same specification and same speci- fication revision. Drawing, specification. and process changes not affecting safety per- formance or fit, as determined by the Government, shall not n

27、ecessitate changing the lot number. Each lot shall conbin- (a) Pa,rts bearing the same lot interfur number from one manufacturer. (b) Primer mixture from one batch or blending of batches which re- sults in homogeneity of all primer mixture used in loading the entire primer lot. 3 Provided by IHSNot

Sampling pla

29、ns and procedures for the following classifications of defects shall be in accordance with Standard MIL-STD-IO6 except that in- spection for critical defects, when listed, 4.2.2.1 Assembly (see dwg, 8867266). The moisture content of the lead azide shall be determined for each lot at the time of 4.2.3.1 4fotMu.I.e cantent of lead- azide loading. 42、rejected. until proper corrective action has been accomplished as verified by repeating the moisture content test specified in 4.3.1. If loading has begun, action on the unloaded lead azide shall be as specified above and all primers loaded with the questionable lead azide shall be rejected, 4,2,3.2

A sample of 0.7 gram shall be selected and tested as specified in 4.3.2.1, If the moisture content is in excess of the perc

44、entage specified and loading has not begun, the lot of primer mixture shall be rejected until proper corrective action has been accomplished as verified by repeating the moisture content test specified in 4.3.2.1. If loading has begun, action on the unloaded primer mixture shall be as specified abov

45、e and all primers loaded with the question- able primer mixture shall be rejected. 4,2,3,3 Composition of plimer mixtu?e (see dwg, 8857266) Major defeat, Code No. 07002. The composition of the primer mix- ture shall be determined for each lot at the time of loading. A sample of 0.6 gram shall be sel

46、ected and tested as specified in 4.3.2.2. If the composition of the primer mixture fails to conform to the requirements speci- fied on the applicable drawing and loading has not begun, the lot of primer mixture shall be rejected, If the loading has begun, primers loaded with the questionable primer

47、mixture shall be rejected. 4.2.3.4 Wateqwoofness (see 3.5)-Major defect, Code No. 05011. A sample of 25 complete primers shall be selected from each lot for ths test. The test shall be per- formed as specified in 4.3.3, using teat equip- ment specified in 4.2,4. If one or more assemblies fail to com

48、ply with the specified requirement the lot shall be rejected and acceptance testing for the Government dis- continued, 4.2.3.5 Sensitivity (see 3.6)-Major defect Code No. 05012 and output (sea 3.6)- Majoy defect Code No, 05013. A sample of 300 primers shall be tested for sensitivity and output as sp

49、ecified in 4.3.3.1, using test Equipment specified in 4.2.4. If one or more assemblies fail to comply with the specified requirements the lot shall be rejected and acceptance testing for the Government dis- continued. 4.2.4 Inspection equipment. Index of In- spection Equipment Number IEL-8867266 identifies the inspection equipment required to perform the examinations and tests pre- scribed in this section. T
