The contractor shall submit a first article sample as des
4、ignated by the Contracting Officer for evaluation in accordance with the provisions of 4.3.2. The first article sample shall consist of five (5) blocks of propellant for lots of multiple mixer loads or three (3) blocks of propellant forlots of a single mixer load. The sample propellant shall have be
5、en vacuum cast and cured in accordance with note two (2) of drawing 12576572. Each block shall be large enough for all first article tests of Section 4.3.2, but -YSC N/A 1 of 3 FSC 1376 NT A. One of the five sample blocks shall be cast from the first mixer load and one from the last mixerload of the propellant lot. The three remaining sample blocks shall be randomly tak
7、en from the ,propellant mix if the lot contains more than one mixer load. If the lot is one mixer load, then one sample block shall be taken from the top, one from the bottom, and one from the middle. These samples shall be,obtained from the first production lot which has been produced by the contra
8、ctor using the same production process, procedures and equipment as will be used in fulfilling the contract. One of the five sample blocks shallbe cast from the first mixer load and one from the last mixer load of propellant lot. The remaining three (3) sample blocks shall be randomly taken f
11、rom the propellant lot if a lot contains more than one mixer load. If the lot contains only one mixer load, then one sample block shall be cast from the top, one from the bottom, and one from the middle of the lot. Each of the sample blocks shall be subjected to all the tests of Section 3 and Sectio
12、n 4 of this specification.
