In the event of a conflict between the text of this specification and the references cited herein, the text of this specifica- tion shall take precedence. 3.1 Materials and components. - . 3.1.1 Materials. All materials cited on TDPL 81-6-392 or on th
13、e subsidiary drawings shall conform to the specifications listed thereon, or to the specific characteristics set forth on the drawing. Y 3.1.2 Components. All components of the kit shall conform to the specifics- . tions and drawings listed on TDPL 81-6-392 and subsidiary drawings. 3.2 Pump leakage.
14、 The pump shall not leak when pressurized to 3750 + 50 or - O pounds per square inch gage (pig) for a period of 30 + 1 or -0 minutes when tested as specified in 4.4.5. 3.3 - Kit. The components shall be assembled into a kit as specified in sec- tion 5. 3.4 First article. Prior to the start of regula
15、r production, a first article Lot of test set components shall be produced for examination and tests in accordance with this specification. 3.5 Workmanship. The components of the kit shall be free from contamination (foreign matter, oil or grease) and damage such as dents, cracks or deformation that
16、 could affect their use. 4. QUALITY ASSWCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. 4.1.1 Contractors responsibility. Unless otherwise specified in the con- tract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. in the cont

The inspection requirements specified herein are classi
20、fied as follows: (a) (b) (c) First article inspection (see 4.3) . Quality conformance inspection ( see 4.4). Packaging inspection (see 4.4) . 4.3 First article inspection. 4.3.1 - Lot. A first article lot of five each of all components, subassem- blies, assemblies and packaging (section 5) shall be
21、manufactured using the same methods, materials, equipment and processes as will be used during regular production. 4 . 3.2 4.3.2.1 For examination and tests. The sample components, subassemblies, assemblies and packaging shall be examined and tested for all specification and drawing requirements. In
22、spect ion procedure. 4.3.2.2 Acceptance/rejection criteria. The first article sample shall comply with the examination and tests specified in 4.3.2.1 to be acceptable. The acceptance number is zero. The contractor shall obtain written approval from the contracting officer prior to proceeding with re
23、gular production. 4.4 Quality conformance inspection. 4.4.1 Lotting. Fach lot of test sets shall be identified and controlled in accordance with MIL-STD-1168. 4 . 4.2 Sampling. 4.4.2.1 For examination. Sampling shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105. 4.4.2.2 For leakage test. There is no
24、sampling. Each pump in the lot shall be tested, 4.4.3 Inspection procedure. 4.4.3.1 For examination. The test set packaging shall be examined in accordance with the classification of defects and MIL-STD-105. 4.4.3.2 For leakage test. Each pump shall be tested in accordance with 4.4.5. ny pump failin

27、oose or missing 4.4.5 Pump leakage test. The pump shall be subjected to specified internal hydrostatic pressure for a period of 30 e 1 or - O minutes and observed for leakage (see 6.4). 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Cleaning and drying. The hydraulic pump assembly and other kit compo- 0 nents shall be cleaned an
28、d dried in accordance with MIL-P-116, using method C-1 and any of the drying methods listed therein. 5.2 Preservation and packaging. Level shall be as specified (see 6.2). 5.2.1 Level A. Unless otherwise specified, preservatives and the applica- tion thereof and packaging methods shall conform to MI
29、L-P-116. 5.2.1,l Hydraulic pump assembly. The pump assembly, less gage, bleeder valve, pipe elbow, nipple, pump lever handle and pressure relief valve lever shall be preserved by lubricating the Wdraulic pump in accordance with the manufacturerls instructions and coating the interior of the hydrauli

The pump, preserved in accordance with 5.2.1.1, shall be wrapped in barrier material conforming to type I, grade A of MIL-B-121 and then placed in a snug fitting fiberboard box conforming to type CF, class weather-resistant, variety SW,
34、grade VC, of PPP-B-636.
