Page 3 prEN 3841-405: 2003 1 Scope This standard specifies a method of verifying the circuit breakers ability to withstand fluids as defined in EN 3909. It shall be used together with EN 38

9、l 1) Aerospace series - Test fluids for electric components and sub-assemblies 1) 3 Method 3.1 Mounting The circuit breakers shall be submitted to the test in the closed position. 3.2 Procedure One circuit breaker shall be used for each fluid as defined in EN 3909 and wetted using a brush. The circu
10、it breakers shall remain wet for 24 h at ambient temperature except for the fire extinguishing agent. 3.3 Requirement Manual verification of the mechanical function after wetting; then, after the drying phase the tests in accordance with technical specification and product standard shall be carried out.
