3、 up under the responsibility of AECMA-STAN (The European Association of Aerospace Industries - Standardization). It is published on green paper for the needs of the European Aerospace Industry. It has been technically approved by the experts of the concerned Domain following member comments. Subsequ

4、ent to the publication of this Prestandard, the technical content shall not be changed to an extent that interchangeability is affected, physically or functionally, without re-identification of the standard. After examination and review by users and formal agreement of AECMA-STAN it will be submitte

5、d as a draft European Standard to CEN (European Committee for Standardization) for formal vote. Page 3 prEN 3841-405: 2003 1 Scope This standard specifies a method of verifying the circuit breakers ability to withstand fluids as defined in EN 3909. It shall be used together with EN 38

7、41-100. 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates by dated or undated reference provisions from other publications. These normative references are cited at the appropriate places in the text and the publications are listed hereafter. For dated references, subsequent amendments to or

8、 revisions of any of these publications apply to this European Standard only when incorporated in it by amendment or revision. 9、l 1) Aerospace series - Test fluids for electric components and sub-assemblies 1) 3 Method 3.1 Mounting The circuit breakers shall be submitted to the test in the closed position. 3.2 Procedure One circuit breaker shall be used for each fluid as defined in EN 3909 and wetted using a brush. The circu

10、it breakers shall remain wet for 24 h at ambient temperature except for the fire extinguishing agent. 3.3 Requirement Manual verification of the mechanical function after wetting; then, after the drying phase the tests in accordance with technical specification and product standard shall be carried out.
