8、cope This specification defines the requirements of shear type 100“ countersunk reduced head and protruding head close tolerance rivets in aluminium alloy 7050773 and collars of aluminium alloy 3003 ( H12 to H17 condition ) and collars of aluminium alloy 6061“ for use as permanent fasteners in shear

13、 heading 4, : .I I, 3 Definitions The close tolerance rivets and collars covered by this specification shall be of the types, sizes, configurations and materials designated by the part numbers specified on the applicable standards which refer to this specification. 4 Certification and quality assura

14、nce 4.1 Qualification tests Qualification requirements shall consist of tests per table 4 and 5. Evidence shall be submitted, satisfactory to the pur- chaser, that the supplier has produced fasteners of the same basic part number ( excluding grip designation ), diameter and material as those for whi

15、ch quotations are asked. This fastener shall meet the requirements of this specification. 4.2 Quality conformance inspection Quality conformance inspection shall consist of tests per table 4 and 5 sampling plan per table 6 and 7. 4.3 Quality control records Quality control records pertaining to the

16、specific work order, lot number or job number shall be available for inspection by the purchaser for a period of 3 years after manufacturers final inspection date. 4.4 Lot llise 5.10 :haracteristic in break load Table I (concluded) Technical requirement Table 3 values are applicable. Ater the evalua

17、tion of the pin break loads head dishing of flush head pins must not exceed 0,076 mm. Cracks are not allowed in any location of the pin. Inspection and test method Test shall be performed with the 1 O0 degrees head of the fastener seated in a tension test fixture having a hole size of 4,153 to 4,178

18、 mm for diam. code 040 and 4,813 to 4,838 mm for diam code 050. The test plate countersink must have a 2 degree angular misalignment from the hole centerline. The presence of cracks shall be determined by fluorescent penetrant inspection per MlL-STD-6866, method A or 8, sensitivity level 2 or higher

19、. The penetrant materials used shall be per MlL-1-25135. Examine all surfaces at I O x to 30 x magnification. 20、test method 6 Requirements for collars in aluminium alloy 3003 and 6061 The requirements for 3003 and 6061 aluminium alloy collars, shear type are given in table 2. These requirements complement the requirements of all other standards or specifications referenced in the document of the rivet, and ma

21、y be overridden only when specially instructed in the definition document. Inspection tests given in tables 1 and 2 are mandatory ( except as noted ) on each lot as defined in 4.3, for the fastener manufacturer.
