4、losets, urinals, and tanks.This Standard replaces ASME A112.19.5-2005, Trim for Water-Closet Bowls, Tanks, and Urinals and the requirements in Clauses 4.18.1, 4.18.3, and 5.8.7 of CSA B125.3-11.This Standard is considered suitable for use with conformity assessment within its stated scope.This Stand

5、ard was prepared by the ASME/CSA Joint Harmonization Task Group on Plumbing Fixtures, under the jurisdiction of the ASME Standards Committee on Plumbing Materials and Equipment and the CSA Technical Committee on Plumbing Fixtures. The CSA Technical Committee operates under the jurisdiction of the CS

6、A Strategic Steering Committee on Water Management Products, Materials, and Systems. This Standard has been formally approved by the ASME Standards Committee and the CSA Technical Committee. 32、3.1 DefinitionsThe following definitions shall apply in this Standard:Flush valve a valve located in a flush tank and used to flush a fixture by discharging water into the fixture.Early closure flush valve a valve in which the flush valve seal is adjustable to control the water level.Note: Usually,

33、early closure flush valves are dependent on either a time delay or the distance that the water level drops to control the level at which the flush valve closes.Flush valve body a fitting that contains a flush valve seat and a means of mounting to a fixtureNote: The means for mounting the body can be

34、 threaded or non-threaded, and can be with or without an overflow.Flush valve seal a component of the flush valve that mates against the flush valve seat to prevent leakage when the flush valve is closed.Note: Flappers are a type of flush valve seal.Flush valve seat the sealing surface of the flush

35、valve body which, when mated with the flush valve seal, prevents leakage through the flush valve into the fixture.Mounting seal a seal between the flush valve body and the fixture.Spud a fitting used to connect a flushometer valve to a water closet or urinal.Note: Spuds are illustrated in Tables 1 a
