Chemical Composition6.1 The alloys shall conform to the requirem

Since magnetic performance is paramount, analysisvariations are permitted by mutual agreement between the userand producer.6.2 Determination of metallic constituents and phosphorusshall be by a method(s) acceptable to both producer and user.Analysis of carbon and sulfur sh

Form and Condition7.1 These materials are capable of being produced in a widevariety of forms and conditions suitable for further manufac-ture into specific magnetic articles. The desired form andcondition shall be specified and should be discusse

27、e shall conform to those listed in Practice A 34/A 34M. Specimen shapes such as stacked laminations, solidrings, and spirally wound tape and wire cores are necessary forthe most accurate results. If, however, the product form ordimensions precludes the use of a preferred test specimen, thespecimen s
