3、Scope1.1 This specification covers carbon, low-alloy, high-strength low-alloy, and alloy steel hot-rolled floor plates forflooring, stairways, transportation equipment, and generalstructural purposes. While it is generally provided in theas-rolled condition, floor plate also may be provided in thehe
4、at-treated condition, depending on the material specification.Rolled floor plates have raised figures at regular intervals onone surface of the plate.1.2 Floor plate is available in dimensions that meet theclassification size limits for sheet, heavy thickness sheet coil,or plate. Maximum thickness f
5、or product delivered under thisspecification is 1 in. 25 mm.1.3 When the steel is to be welded, it is presupposed that awelding procedure suitable for the grade of steel and intendeduse or service will be utilized. Manufacturers generally produce only one of the patternsshown.4.2 Pattern size, shape, and minimum pattern height are notaddressed in this specification due to the differences in indi-vidual manufacturers patterns and

Tensile Properties10.1 The material as represented by the test specimen shallconform to the r
30、equirements for yield point or yield strength,and tensile strength in the ordered specification. The tensiontest shall be conducted on specimens with the raised figurespresent. Thickness is measured at a position between the raisedfigures in an area unaffected by the pattern.10.2 Percent elongation,
31、 and reduction of area where appli-cable, are not required for rolled floor plate.11.
