Materials and Manufacture6.1 The material shall be supplied in the solution-treatedcondition.NOTE 1The recommended heat treatment shall consist of heating to atemperature of 2010 to 2100F (1100 to 1150C) for UNS N08925 andUNS N08926, followed by quenching in water or rapid cool
18、ing by othermeans.7. Chemical Composition7.1 The material shall conform to the requirements as tochemical composition prescribed in Table 1. One test isrequired for each lot as defined in Specification B829.7.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurchaser, the material shall conform to
19、 the product (check)analysis variations per Specification B829.8. Mechanical Properties and Other Requirements8.1 Mechanical PropertiesThe material shall conform tothe mechanical properties prescribed in Table 2. One test isrequired for each lot as defined in Specification B829.8.2 Nondestructive Te
20、sts: Each pipe and tube shall besubjected to either a hydrostatic test or a nondestructive electrictest as described in Specification B829. The purchaser mayspecify which test is to be used.8.2.1 Hydrostatic Test: The fiber stress for the purpose ofcalculating the hydrostatic test pressure shall be
21、20 000 psi(138 Mpa).9. Dimensions and Permissible Variations9.1 The permissible variations in dimensions set forth inSpecification B829 shall apply.10.
