Scope*1.1 This specification covers aluminum-alloy castings, pro-duced

3、by Squeeze Casting, and the Semi-Solid Thixocast andRheocast casting processes, designated as shown in Table 1.1.2 This specification is for aluminum-alloy squeezecastings, and semi-solid Thixocast and Rheocast castings usedin general purpose applications. It may not address the me-chanical properti

4、es, integrity testing, and verification requiredfor highly loaded or safety critical applications.1.3 Alloy and temper designations are in accordance withANSI H35.1/H35.1 (M).1.4 Unless the order specifies the “M” specificationdesignation, the material shall be furnished to the inch-poundunits.1.5 F

5、or acceptance criteria for inclusion of new aluminumand aluminum alloys and their properties in this specification,see Annex A1 and Annex A2.1.6 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equival
