Scope1.1 This specification covers high strength, seamless pipeand tube of nickel alloys (UNS N07022, UNS N07725, andUNS

3、 N07740)2as shown in Table 1.1.2 Pipe and tube shall be supplied in the cold worked orcold worked and precipitations hardened or solution annealedplus precipitation hardened and descaled conditions. Whenatmosphere control is used, descaling is not necessary.1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units

4、are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered standard.1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. Mechanical Properties7.1 Unless otherwise specified, the material shall be sup-plied in the cold worked (cw), or cold worked and precipitationhardened (prec hard), or solution annealed plus precipitationhardened condition as described in Table 2 and Table 3.7.2 The mechanical properti

24、es of the material at roomtemperature shall conform to those shown in Table 3.8. Hydrostatic Test or Non-Destructive Electric Test8.1 Each pipe or tube shall be tested by the manufacturer byeither hydrostatic or a non-destructive electric test in accor-dance with Specification B829. Hydrostatic test

25、ing at a pres-sure greater than 1000 psi may be performed upon agreementbetween the purchaser and manufacturer or at the option of themanufacturer provided that the allowable fiber stress perSpecification B829 is not exceeded.9. The results of the tests on both of these specimens shallmeet the s

Specimen Preparation12.1 Tension test specimens shall be taken from materialafter final heat treatment and tested in the direction offabrication.12.2 Whenever possible, all pipe and tube shall be tested infull tubular size. When testing in full tubular size is notpossible,

30、longitudinal strip specimens, or the largest possibleround specimen prepared in accordance with Test Methods E8,shall be used.13. Test Methods13.1 The chemical composition and mechanical propertiesof the material is as enumerated in this specification shall bedetermined in accordance with the method

31、s in SpecificationB829.14. Inspection14.1 Inspection of the material shall be in accordance withthis specification and agreements between the manufacturerand purchaser as part of the purchase contract.15. Certification15.1 When specified in the purchase order or contract, amanufacturers certificatio

32、n shall be furnished to the purchaserstating that material has been manufactured, tested, and in-spected in accordance with this specification, and that the testresults on representative samples meet specification require-ments. When specified in the purchase order or contract, areport of the test r

33、esults shall be furnished.16.
