Classification and Use3.1 This specification provides for the classification of thelatex bonding agents in accordance with use.3.1.1 Type I (Redispersable), is restricted for use in interiorwork not subject to water immersion or high humidit
6、y.3.1.2 Type II (Non-redispersable), may be used for areassubject to high humidity or immersion in water and is suitablefor use in other areas.4. 7、tary requirements if necessary.5. Physical Properties5.1 The material shall conform to the requirements of Table1 when tested in accordance with Test Method C 1042.6. Sampling6.1 For sampling of bulk quantities, a batch or lot shall beconsidered a unit of manufacture as prepared for shipment ormay c
8、onsist of a blend of two or more production runs ofmaterial. A composite sample shall be taken and it shallprovide a volume of at least 1 gal 4 L.6.2 When the bonding agent to be sampled is in containers,the sample shall be obtained by taking a portion out of thecontainers that is equal in number to
9、 the next integer largerthan the cube root of the total number of containers in the lot.Grab samples shall be taken from each container and they shallhave a volume of at least12 pt. 0.25 L.6.3 All the sample containers shall be sealed to preventleakage or dilution and shall be properly marked for id
10、entifi-cation and correlation.7. Rejection7.1 The purchaser has the right to reject the bonding agentif it fails to meet the bond strength requirement, appearscurdled or otherwise nonuniform, or if it has a rank odor.8. Packaging and Package Marking8.1 The proprietary name and type of the organic bo
11、ndingagent and the net quantity in gallons or litres shall be plainlymarked on the containers in which the material is delivered.Similar information shall be provided in the shipping advicesaccompanying packaged or bulk shipments of admixtures.9.
