1、Designation: C1230 96 (Reapproved 2015)Standard Test Method forPerforming Tension Tests on Glass-Fiber ReinforcedConcrete (GFRC) Bonding Pads1This standard is issued under the fixed designation C1230; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the

2、case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This test method covers determination of the tensile loadcapacity of glass-fiber reinfor

In particular, the section of the specimen adjacentto the flex anchor shall not be allowed to bend while the anchoris being pulled in tension, in order to avoid force eccentricity.4.3 Gripping Device, a suitable mechanical g

Saw the test specimens so they are nominally 12 in.square, the anchor is in the center, and the specimen edges area sufficient distance from the bonding pad to allow supportduring
