Apparatus5.1 Specimen ContainerMolds, measures, measuringbowls, and containers used for fabricating test specimensaccording to this practice
11、shall conform to the requirementsdescribed in the standard for which the test specimen isrequired.5.2 Sample ReceptacleA pan or wheelbarrow that iswater-tight, has a nonabsorbent surface, and is large enough toretain a volume of concrete sufficient to fill all necessaryspecimen containers.5.3 Pourin

Sampling Concrete6.1 The sample of concrete from which test specimens areto be fabricated shall be representative of the entire batch. Thesample shall be obtained in accordance with Practice C172 orPractice C192/C192M.7. Procedure7.1 Me
17、asure and record the slump flow of the sampledconcrete in accordance with Test Method C1611/C1611M. Forconcrete with a slump flow of 500 mm 20 in. or greater,fabricate test specimens as follows.7.2 Identify, position, and prepare the specimen container,and any related equipment, as described in the
18、practice or testmethod for which the test specimen is required.7.3 Fill the pouring vessel with a representative portion ofSCC from the sample receptacle, either by passing the pouringvessel through the SCC or by scooping concrete into the vessel.7.4 Fill the specimen container with SCC by tilting a
19、nd thenmoving the pouring vessel around the perimeter of the con-tainer to allow the SCC to flow into the container and to ensurean even distribution of concrete.7.5 During the filling process, position the lowest point onthe rim of the pouring vessel no more than 125 mm 5 in.above the top of the co
20、ntainer. If necessary, repeat theprocedures in 7.3 and 7.4, without rodding the concrete ortapping the sides of the specimen container, until the containeris overfilled slightly above its rim.7.6 After filling, follow all subsequent specimen fabricationand testing procedures as specified in the prac
21、tice or testmethod for which the test specimen is required.8.
