In this essay, I shall look at two reasons why this is happening and how the gap might be made smaller. One reason that citie

In China, for example, the government has clearly focused on making Beijing and Shanghai particularly attractive to outside investment. This stra
24、tegy has clearly worked, but also results in a great disparity in living standards. Another reason is that the level of education in cities in less developed countries is generally much higher than that in rural areas. Better teachers usually prefer to be where the living standards are better and th

In addition, the schools in cities tend to be better equipped and the students also have access to more and better information. For example, in China, it is normal for students to have access to c
