An HS cement failing the 180-day limit shall not be rejected unless it also fails the one-year limit.IIf specifically invoked
38、 for Type IP(LH) and Type IT(P$S)(LH), the optional sulfate resistance criterion that applies for MS is a maximum of 0.10% expansion at 180 days and for HS is a maximum of 0.05% expansionat 180 days or a maximum of 0.10% expansion at one year (see Footnote H). Type IL and Type IT cements with limest

The plant facilities for intergrind-ing or blending and inspection shall be adequate to ensurecompliance with the provisions of this specification.13. Rejection13.1 At the option o
40、f the purchaser, cement shall be rejectedif it fails to meet any of the requirements of this specificationapplicable to the cement. Such rejection shall apply to anoptional requirement only if that option has been invoked forthe cement.13.2 When the purchaser requires, cement in bulk storagefor a pe
41、riod greater than six months shall be resampled andretested and, at the option of the purchaser, shall be rejected ifit fails to meet any of the applicable requirements of thisspecification. Cement so rejected shall be the responsibility ofthe owner of record at the time of sampling for retest.13.3
42、When the purchaser requires, packages more than 2 %below the mass marked thereon shall be rejected; or if theaverage mass of packages in any shipment, as shown bydetermining the mass of 50 packages taken at random, is lessthan that marked on the packages, the entire shipment, at theoption of the pur
43、chaser, shall be rejected.14. Certification14.1 At the request of the purchaser, the manufacturer shallstate in writing the source, amount, and composition of theessential constituents used in manufacture of the finishedcement and the composition of the blended cement purchased.14.2 At the request o
44、f the purchaser, the manufacturer shallstate in writing the nature, amount, and identity of anyprocessing, functional, or air-entraining addition used; andalso, if requested, shall supply test data showing compliance ofany such processing addition with the provisions of Specifica-tion C465 and of an
45、y such functional addition with theprovisions of Specification C688, and of any such air-entraining addition with the provisions of Specification C226.14.3 At the request of the purchaser, the manufacturer shallalso state in writing that the amounts of pozzolan, slag, orlimestone in the finished cem
46、ent will not vary more than 6 5.0mass % of the finished cement from lot to lot or within a lot.14.4 Upon request of the purchaser in the contract or order,a manufacturers certification shall be furnished indicating thatthe material was tested during production or transfer inaccordance with this spec
47、ification, that it complies with thisspecification, and a report of the test results shall be furnishedat the time of shipment (to include both amount retained on the45-m (No. 325) sieve and specific surface by the air perme-ability method).15. Packaging and Package Marking15.1 When the cement is de
48、livered in packages, the words,“portland blast-furnace slag cement,” “portland-pozzolan ce-ment,” “portland-limestone cement,” or “ternary blended ce-ment” as appropriate; the type of cement, name and brand ofthe manufacturer, and the mass of the cement containedtherein, shall be plainly marked on e
49、ach package. When thecement contains a functional addition listed in 5.1.3.5-5.1.3.10,the type of functional addition shall be plainly marked on eachpackage. Similar information shall be provided in the shippingdocuments accompanying the shipment of packaged or bulkcement. All packages shall be in good condition at the time ofinspection.16. Storage16.1 The cement shall be stored in such a manner as topermit easy access for proper inspection and identification ofeach shipment, and in a suitable weathertight
