Scope1.1 This practice covers information recommended for in-clusion in reports giving graphite irradiation

Significance and Use3.1 The purpose of this practice is to identify sample an

4、dtest parameters that may influence graphite irradiation testresults. This practice should not be construed as a requirementor recommendation that proprietary information be disclosed.3.2 Irradiation results on graphite include dimensionalchanges and changes in properties that are used in reactordes

5、ign. The irradiation data are reported in government docu-ments, open literature publications, and are assembled into datamanuals for use by reactor designers.4. Sample Description4.1 Source,4.2 Grade or identifying sample number,4.3 Raw materials including filler, binder, additives, impreg-nants an

6、d their pretreatment, if not proprietary information,4.4 Forming process including the size and shape of parentstock, if not proprietary information,4.5 Heat treatment including graphitizing temperature, rateof heating and soak time, if not proprietary information.4.6 Purification, if not proprietar

7、y information,4.7 Sampling plan including location in parent stock, grainorientation, size, and shape of samples, and4.8 Pre-irradiation sample treatment including prestressing,annealing, or previous irradiation.5. Property Measurements5.1 MethodIndicate the method and accuracy of measure-ment and,

8、if applicable, differences between pre- and post-irradiation measurements.5.2 ResultsSpecify the number of samples represented orthe number of measurements per sample if mean values aregiven.5.3 Indicate other measurements taken but not reported.6. Irradiation Conditions6.1 Reactor and test position

9、s.6.2 Design of capsule, including materials of construction.6.3 Atmosphere to which samples were exposed.6.4 Thermal history including method of measurement orcalculation.6.5 Sample ConstraintIf applicable, indicate the type,magnitude and method of determining stress applied duringirradiation.6.6 D
