8、egatesizes for specific uses or may suggest one or more of thesesizes as appropriate for the preparation of various end-productmixtures. In some cases, closer limits on variability of theaggregate grading are required.5. Manufacture5.1 The standard sizes of aggregate described in this clas-sificatio
9、n are manufactured by means of any suitable processused to separate raw material into the desired size ranges.Production of standard sizes by blending two or more differentcomponents is permitted.6. Standard Sizes6.1 Standard aggregate sizes shall conform to the require-ments prescribed in Table 1 f
10、or the size number specified.Conformance shall be determined by means of laboratorysieves having square openings and conforming to SpecificationE11.7. Basis of Classification7.1 Classification of an aggregate is based upon the sizenumber designation and size ranges shown in Table 1. Aggre-gate shall
