Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice provides a criteria guide and proceduralmethod to assist utility owners, ar

3、chitects, engineers, construc-tors, and other selection agencies in determining the overallqualifications of a coating contractor to execute coating workfor the primary containment and other safety-related facilitiesof light-water nuclear power plants.1.2 The qualification criteria and requirements

4、address theessential basic capability of a contractor to execute nuclearcoating work. Obviously, the specific capability to executethose requirements unique to a given project must also becarefully considered. The evaluation procedure contained inthis practice is designed to be adaptive to this deta

5、iled finalqualification process. Variation or simplification of the practiceis appropriate for non safety-related areas of nuclear powerplants, fossil fueled facilities, and other industrial projects.1.3 The overall capability of a contractor to successfullyexecute the varied and complex requirement

6、s of nuclearcoating work is dependent upon competency in a variety ofessential categories.1.4 The nine evaluation categories described in Sections3-12 detail the specific data to be provided by the contractor asessential to determining qualification status. In addition, a tenthuntitled category has

7、been provided on the evaluation workdescribed in Section 12 for inclusion of other informationpertinent to a specific project.1.5 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish ap

8、pro-priate safety and health practices and determine the applica-bility of regulatory limitations prior to use.2. Quality Assurance6.1 Quality Assurance ProgramThe contractor shall sub-mit one copy of his quality assurance program that shallconform to 10 CFR

23、50 Appendix B, ANSI N 45.2.6, GuideD 4537, Practice D 3843, and other applicable documents. Theprogram shall include implementation procedures and sampleforms.6.2 Quality Assurance/Quality ControlList number ofpersonnel qualified in accordance with ANSI N 45.2.6 orGuide D 4537,orNQA-1 for each of th

24、e following:6.2.1 LEVEL III Inspector,6.2.2 LEVEL II Inspector, and6.2.3 LEVEL I Inspector.7. Training7.1 Submit training manual for craft and supervisory per-sonnel. If no formal training program exists, the contractorshall submit evidence of procedures and methods utilized.8. Safety8.1 Submit copy
