However, it is not knownwhether methyl acrylate was part of the sample set included in theinterlaboratory study.4. Hazards4.1 Methyl acrylate is a flammable liquid. Its
11、 vapors canform explosive mixtures with air and are particularly irritating.Store samples in amber bottles or protect from light by othermeans to aid in preventing polymerization. Keep samples awayfrom heat sources and chemicals that can cause free radicalpolymerization. Methyl acrylate can polymeri
12、ze violentlyevolving considerable heat. The inhibitor, methyl ether ofhydroquinone, requires oxygen to be active.5.
