1、Designation: D 6937 08Standard Test Method forDetermining Density of Emulsified Asphalt1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 6937; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number
2、 in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This test method covers the determination of density ofemulsified asphalt used in highway construction. This unit iscomputed by determining t
3、he mass of an emulsified asphaltcontained in a standard measure of known volume.1.2 This test method does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health practices and

If

Fill the cup within 2 mm of the rim with the distilledwater, being careful not to incorporate any air bubbles.Carefully

Reweigh the filled cup, coverand water after wiping and find the net weight of water(optional: read weight directly from previously tared balance).Net
