3、Scope1.1 This specification covers a single component, moisturecured, elastomeric urethane polymer coating used as a protec-tive coating for spray polyurethane foam roofing systems.1.2 This specification does not provide guidance for appli-cation.1.3 The values stated in either SI units or inch-poun

4、d unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. Materials and Manufacture4.1 CompositionThe product, as manufactured, shall be inliquid form for application to spray polyurethane f

11、oam (SPF)surfaces by brushing, rolling, or spraying. The product shall becomposed of a solvent-borne moisture curing urethane elasto-meric polymer, to which various pigments or other additiveshave been added to give the required physical properties.4.2 Physical PropertiesAlthough the product is supp

12、liedas a liquid, its performance is based on the functional proper-ties of the dried material in film form. 15、 Physical Properties5.1 The liquid coating shall comply with physical propertyrequirements in Table 1.5.2 The film shall comply with physical property require-ments in Table 2.6. Sample and Test Methods6.1 Viscosity (Test Methods D2196)Brookfield LVT Vis-cometer #4 Spindle, 6 RPM.6.2 Specimen Prepar

16、ation (Dry Time)Films are preparedby applying two coats, with a minimum of an 8-h drying periodbetween coats, to an FEB sheet substrate to give a total dry filmthickness of 0.50 6 0.5 mm 20 6 2 mils. The film is allowedto thoroughly dry at 23 6 2C 73.4 6 3.6F and 50 6 10 %relative humidity for 336 6

17、 12 h. The film shall be removedfrom the release paper and turned over after the first 168 6 12h to allow for complete curing.6.3 Elongation and Tensile Strength (Test Method D2370):6.3.1 Test Conditions: 23 6 2C 73 6 3.6F at 50 6 10 %relative humidity and 18 6 2C 0 6 3.6F.6.3.2 Cut specimen measuri

At that time the weight is determined.6.7 Adhesion to Specified Substrate (Test Method D903):6.7.1 Crosshead speed 0.8 mm/s 2 in./min.6.7.2 Specimens are prepared by brush applying two coatsto the specified substrate with the cloth strip (as described inTest Method D9

22、03) embedded between the coats to give a totaldry film thickness of 0.5 mm 20 mils 6 10 %. The panels areallowed to cure for 336 6 12hat236 2C 73.4 6 3.6F 506 10 % relative humidity prior to testing for wet adhesion. Ifa primer is specified, it shall be applied per the manufacturersor suppliers dire
