、Designation: D7122 11Standard Specification forHCFC Blend B (CF3CCl2H, Ar, and CF4)1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D7122; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in p

、arentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This specification covers requirements for HCFC BlendB as a fire-fighting medium.1.2 This specification does not address the fire-fightingequipmen

、t or hardware that employs HCFC Blend B or theconditions of employing such equipment (for example, hand-helds, fixed installations, etc.).1.3 This specification does not address the storage ortransportation of HCFC Blend B. Storage, handling, andtransportation issues are addressed in Practice D7123.

、1.4 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered standard.1.5 The following safety hazards caveat pertains only to thetest methods portion, Sec

By definition, the first digit of thenumbering system represents one less than the number ofcarbon atoms in the compound

、molecule; the second digit, onemore than the number of hydrogen atoms in the compoundmolecule; and the third digit, the number of fluorine atoms inthe compound molecule. Unaccounted for valence require-ments are assumed to be chlorine atoms. For example, thedesignation HCFC-123 indicates two carbon
