1、Designation: F 1030 86 (Reapproved 2004)An American National StandardStandard Practice forSelection of Valve Operators1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F 1030; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the

2、year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice provides guidance in the selection ofmanual and power-actuated valve operators.1.2 The values s

3、tated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas the standard. The values given in parentheses are forinformation only.1.3 This standard may involve hazardous materials, opera-tions, and equipment. This standard does not purport toaddress all of the safety concerns associated with its use. It isthe re

Ratchet wrenches are, however, permitted where valve location prevents completewrench rotation.5.4 Handwheel diameter and tee-wrench handle length, based on the system torque at the operating station, is presentedin Table 1.6. Manualoperation shall override power operation of the valve. Stem nutdriven electric, pneumatic,
