1、Designation: F 2419 05Standard Practice forInstallation of Thick Poured Gypsum ConcreteUnderlayments and Preparation of the Surface to ReceiveResilient Flooring1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F 2419; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal

2、adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice covers the installation and preparation ofthe thick p

Consult the individual manufacturer for specificrecommendations.1

6、.5 Thick poured gypsum concrete underlayments are notsuitable for use on concrete slabs on ground due to potentialmoisture problems arising from moisture intrusion, unless anadequate vapor retarder or vapor barrier is present directlybeneath the concrete subfloor.1.6 The values stated in inch-pound

7、units are to be regardedas standard. The values stated in parentheses are approximatemathematical conversions to SI units, which are provided forinformation only.1.7 This practice may involve hazardous materials, opera-tions, and equipment. This standard does not purport toaddress all of the safety

Product Requirements5.1 For the purposes of this practice, thick poured gypsumconcrete underlayment shall be compounds consisting prima-rily of a mixture of gypsum cement, Portland cement and sand.5.2 When tested in accordance with Test Methods

21、 C 472,thick poured gypsum concrete underlayment shall have aminimum compressive strength of 2000 psi (13.8 MPa) for useover wood subfloor and 3000 psi (20.7 MPa) for use overconcrete subfloors.5.3 When tested in accordance with Test Methods C 472,the density shall be a minimum of 105 pcf (1680 kg/m

22、).6. Storage and Handling of Thick Poured GypsumConcrete Underlayments6.1 Thick poured gypsum concrete underlayments includedin this practice are typically delivered to the jobsites as drypowder in bags on pallets. Product shall be delivered inoriginal, unopened, undamaged bags with identification l
