1、Designation: F 2710 08Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification forCommercial Cribs1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F 2710; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A n
2、umber in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.INTRODUCTIONThis consumer safety performance specification addresses incidents identified by the U.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) which
3、 involved infant cribs used in commercial usessuch as the hospitality and day care industries. In response to incident data compiled by CPSC, and in recognition of the more intense use that cribswhich are used for commercial purposes encounter, this consumer safety performance specificationattempts t
4、o minimize the hazards which result from structural failure, instability, and relateddeficiencies. This consumer safety performance specification will also address issues related tomaintenance and repair of these products in use, their transportation and storage and the wide varietyof uses for these

For the purpose of applying the load, the crib interior or mattress support area shall be divided intofour equal area quadrants. The total load shall be located inequal portions, in the center of each quadrant and

The
