1、Designation: F2774 09Standard Practice forManufacturing Quality Control of Consumer Trampoline BedMaterial1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F2774; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last

2、revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice covers the manufacturing quality controlof Consumer Trampoline-Bed Material (CTM), describingtypes of tests,

3、the proper test methods, minimum testingfrequencies, and best practices for sampling.1.2 This practice is intended to aid manufacturers, suppliers, purchasers, installers, and end users of CTM in establishing aminimum level of effort for maintaining quality control.1.3 This practice does not address

4、manufacturing qualityassurance, product acceptance testing, or conformance testing. These are independent activities taken by organizations otherthan the CTM manufacturer.1.4 This practice covers procedures for sampling CTM forthe purpose of manufacturing quality control (MQC). Theseprocedures are de

Significance and Use4.1

16、 CTM must be properly manufactured in a mannerconsistent with a minimum level of quality control as deter-mined by in-house testing of the final product. This practicesuggest types of tests, the methods of the testing and theminimum testing frequencies.4.2 It should be clearly recognized that manufa

17、cturers mayperform additional tests or at a greater frequency than requiredin this practice, or both. In this case the manufacturers qualitycontrol plan will take precedence over this practice. The quotedtests and test methods in Table 1 must appear in the QC planand QC report.4.3 It should also be

18、recognized that purchasers and install-ers of CTM may require additional tests or a greater frequencythan called for in this practice or both. The organization(s)producing such project specific specification or quality assur-ance plan should recognize that such requirements are beyondthe current sta

If such a request is made by thepurchasers or installers, they should clearly communicate therequirements to the manufacturer or supplier during the con-tract decisions in order that disputes do not arise at a subse-quent time.4.4 This practice provides a means by which samples o

20、fCTM may be selected to provide a statistically valid sample forselection of test specimens without previous knowledge of thevariability that may exist between production units.4.5 The principles stated in Practice D4271, and the illus-trative text in that practice can be used by the test methodauth

Procedure for Recommended Quality Control Testsand Requirements6.1 The procedure for this practice is embodied in Table 2.6.2 The minimum recommended quality control tests for themanufacture of CTM are given in Table 2.
