CONVERSION GUIDELINES: Prior to a new ASOG version release, all existing Access Service Requests (ASRs) are formatted according to the rules and guidelines of the “then current” ASOG version. During migration to the new AS
5、OG version, these existing ASRs should be updated to adhere to the new rules and guidelines. This section offers guidance on how to convert “pipeline ASRs” from ASOG51 to ASOG52 format. Note that this document can only suggest possible conversion strategies, since individual providers may have uniqu
6、e conversion requirements to support their specific product offerings. Issue 3519: The WSI field was modified to WSI-S and the field WSI-P has been added to the ASR form with ASOG52. When the WSI field is populated with “N” or “E”, it will be converted as follows: If SEI = Y and ACTL is blank then c
7、onvert to WSI-P = Y and WSI-S = BLANK If SEI = Y and ACTL is populated then convert to WSI-P = BLANK and WSI-S = BLANK (because this would be a MTSO) If SEI is null then convert to WSI-P = BLANK and WSI-S = Y. When WSI field is populated with a value other than “N” or “E”, retain the value in the ne
8、w WSI-S field. Issue 3529: The BAN field on the ASR, CN, and MEC forms has increased in length from 12 to 13 characters. Embedded base data in positions 1 through 12 is to remain left-justified, leaving the 13thposition blank. Issue 3530: When REQTYP is “P”, EU field is populated and EVCI or PVCI is
9、 “A”, remove value in EU field. Issue 3533: The extension portion of the ACTEL, AACTEL, ALCON TEL, and AALCON TEL fields on the SALI form increased in length from 4 to 7 characters.
