5、ndard has been prepared under the direction of the Aerospace Standards Policy Committee. It is identical with ISO 9939:1994, Aerospace Pressure re-oiling connection (new type), published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This standard is a new edition ofBS C 19:1986, which
6、 is withdrawn, and it has been published to adoptISO9939 which itself is the international adoption of BSC 19:1986. There is, therefore, no technical difference between BS C 19 and BS 2C 19. The standard provides requirements for new designs of equipment. Previous designs still in service are covere
7、d by BS C3:1964 (obsolescent) and ISO451:1976. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application. Compliance with a British Standard does not of itself confer immunity from legal obligat

9、:1994 BSI 08-1999 1 1 Scope This International Standard specifies the basic dimensions of a pressure re-oiling connection for use with all oils for aircraft engines, and the clearance envelope to be provided. 2 Requirements 2.1 Connection The connection shall conform to the minimum requirements and
10、basic dimensions given in Figure 1 and Table 1. 2.2 Access clearance The minimum dimensions of the access clearance envelope to be provided around the connection shall be as given in Figure 1 and Table 1.
