8、 a full part. It supersedes BS5939:1980, which is withdrawn. The French text has been retained in order to assist in ensuring the equivalence of terms used in EC Directives and in international trade between English and French speaking countries. There are no corresponding British Standards to ISO12
9、27:1979 and ISO3971:1977 but, as these references are supplied for information only, the validity of this British Standard is not affected.
